Toyota's 2012 Land Cruiser Gets a Face Lift

What has Toyota planned for the new 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser? Well ever since the introduction of the Land Cruiser in 1951, Toyota has sought out to be at the forefront of the SUV category.  Which is why it's no surprise to hear that this year, the 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser will include completely overhauled exterior and interior designs, powertrain, and options across several generations.

The exterior of the 2012 Land Cruiser will be newly designed to compete with the ruggedness of traditional boxy American and British SUV's. Toyota proudly redesigned and optimized pretty much everything about the vehicle's exterior including its new front-end grille and its new 18-inch wheels in order to hone in on the car's off-road presence.

The interior of the new Cruiser will remain fairly similar to the previous year's model, adding only more color options, graphics on the instrument panel, and an enhanced TFT screen. Also remaining similar to the previous year's model will be the cars performance which is a solid 4.6-liter V8 engine that can unleash 318 horsepower and 339 lb.-ft of torque on the open road.

To find out more about the new 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser, its pricing and its availability, you might have to wait until later this year.
