Besides donating cars to nonprofits and nourishing youth education, Toyota - the Japanese manufacturer organizes a ten-lap auto race in Long Beach, CA to raise funds for children's hospitals in the surrounding areas.

The Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix Celebrity/Pro race puts celebrities against pro racers and award a winner for each section. An annual event since 1977, the race has featured a wide range of Toyota models on the track.

It's been 25 years since Toyota opened up a plant in Georgetown, Kentucky and there are 6,600 employees grateful for the fact. Even with the struggling economy and all of the troubles facing modern automakers, not a single employee has been laid off.

In an effort to further the development of in-vehicle interfaces, Toyota and Intel recently signed a memorandum of understanding. This means that they'll partner in the future to create a new infotainment system that offers drivers more of the information they need, while making it easier for them to digest it behind the wheel without having to take their eyes off the road.

Our Grand Opening, Oct. 27th 2011.

We at Toyota of Bristol have spent months working through construction, "Do Not Enter" tape, and listening to banging of hammers.  Yesterday, all of that had came to an end.  Our brand-new dealership is complete.  The much needed facelift not only shows of it's new modern design, but helps us do one thing:  Better Serve Our Customers.

We welcomed in our friends from Toyota, Scion, and Bristol's Chamber of Commerce for our Grand Opening Celebration.
