Five Cool Details about the 2019 Toyota Avalon

  • The 2019 Avalon's design has been updated inside and out. The exterior boasts a more dynamically-angled rear end, a bold grille up front that can't be ignored, and animated turn signals, to name a few features. Inside, you'll find expansive leg room in the rear and premium materials throughout for a more elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.
  • You'll get a standard V6 engine that's been tweaked since the previous model year for more horsepower and torque (though official numbers haven't been released yet), but you can also choose a hybrid four-cylinder engine paired to a 460-volt electric motor and a continuously variable-speed transmission for even better fuel economy.
  • There's more emphasis on performance thanks to a multi-link rear suspension, an available adaptive variable suspension, and even engine sound enhancement and an intake sound generator to really crank up the engine roar.
  • Toyota Safety Sense P comes standard in the 2019 Avalon.
  • Finally, you'll get standard Apple CarPlay compatibility to link up your smartphone to your infotainment system.
