Sustainability in Bloom: Toyota of Bristol Team Plants 9 Million-Seed Emblem
Toyota of Bristol in Tennessee has transformed an unused plot of land behind the dealership into a wildflower garden designed in the shape of the Toyota emblem.
Over the course of several months, team members planted about 9 million seeds — primarily zinnias and marigolds — creating a space that enriches the local ecosystem.
The initiative not only brings the Toyota symbol to life in a natural display but also supports pollinators such as monarch butterflies, a species facing endangerment, and provides bumblebees with a consistent source of nectar and pollen. By reimagining unused land in a way that benefits the environment, Toyota of Bristol underscores its commitment to sustainability and supports Toyota’s broader environmental goals.

Toyota of Bristol is the proud sponsor for the Second Harvest Food Bank
Toyota of Bristol presented a check for $30,000 to the food bank. The money will help provide meals to families in need across an eight-county area served by Second Harvest. “The reason why we wanted to get involved is because it affects children," GM Bunky Gandy said. "One of the most basic needs of children is to be fed. Second Harvest does a great job of doing that. So, we wanted to partner with them to be able to do that." Toyota of Bristol also sponsors the food bank’s golf classic, along with the farmer and chef events, which will take place later this year.
